The Texans treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending Round 7, Pick 25 on Devin Culp a full 86 spots early.

The Thomas Jr. steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

It is not that Sainristil is a bad player; it is that the Texans had louder needs to answer first.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
