Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Ennis Rakestraw Jr. got past him. The Texans do not have to explain a thing at the 85th pick.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Jackson pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with offensive lineman still on the board. McLachlan has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The offensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
