A franchise passer in Williams headlines a D weekend for the Bears.

The phones were a trap the Bears kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

The whole projection now runs through Caleb Williams; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Landing Carter that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.
