Mims should have been long gone. The Texans pounced, and earned a B.

Somebody in the 58th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Texans sat still while Amarius Mims, the No. 22 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. The bottom line is a respectable B.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Green pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher and quarterback.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
