You build a draft on nights like this. Brian Thomas Jr. had no business being available in slot 93, and the Cowboys did the only sane thing and turned in the card. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They will need Ford to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
