There is conviction, and then there is this. The Raiders took Jam Miller a full 59 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Put together, it is a D-.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They have staked the next five years on Fernando Mendoza, which is the only story that really matters here.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver.
