Somebody in Round 5, Pick 38 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Cowboys sat still while Kalen King, the No. 139 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

Gray has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.
