Reid should have been long gone. The Cowboys pounced, and earned a B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Cowboys were there to profit. Karene Reid, the No. 206 name on the board, should have been long gone before No. 247.

They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Williams left real value on the table behind him.

The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
