Best value of the weekend goes to the 49ers for Bassa: A-.

The board owed the 49ers one, and it paid up: Jeffrey Bassa, the No. 131 name on the board, sitting there at pick 226 like a gift left on the doorstep. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The 49ers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
