The Jets let Bassa fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jeffrey Bassa, the No. 128 name on the board, stolen at Round 6, Pick 10. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
