The JD Bertrand pick is the one that will follow the Panthers into the fall. They took him 115 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

However the rest shakes out, McCaffrey at that price is a win they earned. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Hit on Audric Estime and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
