Nobody had Roman Hemby this high, and it is not close. The Raiders reached 87 spots to get him at the 183rd pick. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The whole projection now runs through Fernando Mendoza; hit there and everything else looks smarter. With wide receiver and interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
