A passer of the future in Williams, and a D-, for the Bears.

Nobody had Isaac Rex this high, and it is not close. The Bears reached 65 spots to get him at pick No. 240. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Caleb Williams gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. On value alone, Wilson makes the weekend a net positive.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
