The Cowboys spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Malaki Starks, the No. 26 name on the board, in the 59th pick.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
