The Giants won the night they stopped Montgomery from sliding. Grade: B.

You build a draft on nights like this. Luke Montgomery had no business being available in No. 105, and the Giants did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The back end got a real overhaul.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
