Best value of the weekend goes to the 49ers for Greenfield: B-.

Call it larceny. Garret Greenfield sat on the board until pick No. 253, and the 49ers did not need to be asked twice. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will need Bethune to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

The Easton Stick pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
