You can draft well and still miss the point. The Cardinals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They are betting Majors proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Landing Royals that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
