Mondon Jr. should have been long gone. The Chargers pounced, and earned a B-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Chargers watched Smael Mondon Jr. slide 74 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They are betting Wease Jr. proves the room right and everyone else wrong. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
