A costly weekend of dealing drags the Cowboys to a D-.

The rest of the league had time to spare on Markis Deal; the Cowboys did not wait, grabbing him 125 spots ahead at No. 225.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Neal pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
