Best value of the weekend goes to the Bears for Mondon Jr.: B-. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Smael Mondon Jr., the No. 42 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 175. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
Reaching for Frazier left real value on the table behind him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.
The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Ted Karras leading the way. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
