The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Commanders reached some 48 spots for Patrick Payton, and value like that does not grow back. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Arvell Reese and all.
