The steal of the weekend belongs to the Patriots and Skattebo: A.

The Patriots did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Cam Skattebo fell into pick 217. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A.

They will need Weaver to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Josh Simmons and all.
