Of all the ways to open, the Titans chose the head-scratcher, spending Round 4, Pick 7 on Javon Solomon with running back, interior defensive lineman and other spots still wide open. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They banked enough surplus on Simpson to cover a lot of smaller sins. The Tupuola-Fetui reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.
