The Commanders bet big and early on Dominic Zvada, 67 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.
