Call it larceny. Jared Verse sat on the board until the Round 1 slot, and the Lions did not need to be asked twice. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The cost of the Green reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
