Draft Grade — Rams
Overall B
ValueB NeedB+ TradesA- FutureB-
Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Rams.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Rams started one anyway for Isaac TeSlaa, 50 picks ahead of schedule. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

However the rest shakes out, McMillan at that price is a win they earned. The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick33 Rnd2 Tetairoa McMillan
You do not let a wide receiver like Tetairoa McMillan reach the 33rd pick and blink. They did not. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick67 Rnd3 Elijah Arroyo
No edge and no loss on Elijah Arroyo in the 67th overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick90 Rnd3 Ozzy Trapilo
The board had Ozzy Trapilo higher than the Round 3 slot, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick94 Rnd3 Danny Stutsman
A quiet steal in pick 94: Danny Stutsman for less than the market said. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick101 Rnd3 Jalen Milroe
Jalen Milroe at Round 3, Pick 37 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick104 Rnd4 Nohl Williams
They paid up for Nohl Williams at No. 104 when waiting would have done the job. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick127 Rnd4 Jackson Slater
This one needs a full-page explanation: Jackson Slater in pick 127, miles early. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick190 Rnd6 Isaac TeSlaa
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Isaac TeSlaa. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick195 Rnd6 Karene Reid
A wild overpay on Karene Reid in pick No. 195, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
Pick201 Rnd6 Jack Nelson
Taking Jack Nelson in the Round 6 slot is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick202 Rnd6 Jaydon Blue
Somehow Jaydon Blue was still sitting there in slot 202, and they pounced on premier running back value. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
