Whoever sat across the table from the Patriots should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Powell-Ryland pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
