The Cowboys bled value on every deal, hence the D. The Cowboys looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Sai'vion Jones at No. 126 regardless, 101 picks early. A D that will need time and luck to look better.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Mondon Jr.. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down.
The Watts pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at cornerback and tight end. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
