The Commanders won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: A-. The Commanders ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.
For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They will answer for taking linebacker early while quarterback and interior defensive lineman went begging.
On value alone, Hardy makes the weekend a net positive. The Commanders clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
Bottom line, with JC Latham leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
