The 49ers went off the board in a big way for Kingsley Eguakun, 48 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On value alone, Jacobs makes the weekend a net positive.
