The Bears did not so much draft Jadarian Price as overpay for him, 42 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. On value alone, McDonald makes the weekend a net positive. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

The Will Anderson Jr. deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
