Andras DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks

Draft Grade — Seahawks

FutureB-
Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Seahawks. You can draft well and still miss the point. The Seahawks did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
Carmona has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Ioane pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick47
Rnd2
Olaivavega Ioane
Olaivavega Ioane slipping to Round 2, Pick 15 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick64
Rnd2
Eli Stowers
Eli Stowers at the 64th overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick78
Rnd3
Jake Golday
By-the-book stuff, Jake Golday at pick 78 squarely in line with his ranking. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick96
Rnd3
Daylen Everette
A market-rate cornerback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Daylen Everette. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick211
Rnd6
Fernando Carmona
They jumped the gun on Fernando Carmona, taking him earlier than his grade liked. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
