Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB+ TradesC- FutureB
Best value of the weekend goes to the Titans for DeJean: B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Titans were there to profit. Cooper DeJean, the No. 13 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 2, Pick 6. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They will need Logue to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick13 Rnd1 Taliese Fuaga
In the Round 1 slot they get a plug-and-play piece up front. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick38 Rnd2 Cooper DeJean
Cooper DeJean at pick 38 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick39 Rnd2 Dallas Turner
A top-tier edge rusher at a bargain, Dallas Turner in Round 2, Pick 7, plain and simple. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick106 Rnd4 Jacob Cowing
Jacob Cowing in the 106th pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick112 Rnd4 Mohamed Kamara
Mohamed Kamara in slot 112 is fair value, right on his grade. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick144 Rnd5 James Williams
James Williams slipping to No. 144 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick184 Rnd6 Aki Ogunbiyi
A conviction pick on Aki Ogunbiyi at pick No. 184 that the board grades a round light. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick228 Rnd7 Zion Logue
They reached into another round for Zion Logue, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
