The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Packers reached some 34 spots for Cole Bishop, and value like that does not grow back.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. With quarterback, tight end and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

On value alone, Hart makes the weekend a net positive.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left quarterback open, and the grade is the bill.
