Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Jack Kiser at pick No. 154 is 44 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. Put together, it is a D.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

They banked enough surplus on Trapilo to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
