A franchise passer in Nix headlines a B weekend for the Broncos.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Broncos spent their marquee pick on Bo Nix, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took McClellan. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
