You can usually follow a front office's logic. This one is harder. The Steelers spent No. 95 on Zak Zinter while running back and tight end sat unaddressed. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Every board in the league had Jackson lower, and that gap is the story. On value alone, Milton III makes the weekend a net positive.

The Ikem Ekwonu pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
