The Bears worked the phones like thieves and earned a B+.

The war room fell hard for Sam Hartman, and it showed at Round 7, Pick 6: 34 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Landing Burke that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
