It is the swing that defines the weekend: Dayon Hayes in slot 194, a good 112 spots before the room expected him.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Whatever Cam Ward becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer.

That Hudson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
