Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Barryn Sorrell at pick No. 170 is 105 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. A D+ that will need time and luck to look better.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Sanders. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it.

The Cowboys indulged a want in Watts while a need in cornerback and tight end stayed open.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
