With running back, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. Jacobs has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The Wease steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
