Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bears spent pick No. 252 on Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, a name the board had a full 116 spots lower.

Getting Henderson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The veteran additions, Quinn Meinerz chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
