The Cowboys went off the board in a big way for Carson Steele, 78 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Marshall Jr. value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
