When a board-topper like TreVeyon Henderson slides to pick 171, you do not overthink it, and the Cowboys did not. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.

Reaching for Beck left real value on the table behind him. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

They will answer for taking safety early while cornerback and tight end went begging. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
