You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with Jaeden Roberts in pick 73.

The Hancock steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
