The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D+.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Brady Cook at slot 148 is 89 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Getting Skattebo where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Cowboys indulged a want in Winston Jr. while a need in cornerback and tight end stayed open.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
