Truckley45 DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B

FutureB-
The Seahawks robbed the room for Iamaleava. Final grade: B. The Seahawks spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Nico Iamaleava, the No. 161 name on the board, in the Round 6 slot. The bottom line is a respectable B.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick31
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In pick 31 they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker, and a steal at that. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick63
Rnd2
Elijah Sarratt
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Elijah Sarratt in slot 63. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick95
Rnd3
Keith Abney II
They let Keith Abney II come to them and pounced at the Round 3 slot. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick183
Rnd6
Nico Iamaleava
You do not let a quarterback like Nico Iamaleava reach Round 6, Pick 5 and blink. They did not. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
