The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Texans watched Omarion Hampton slide 103 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The Jackson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

Job largely done: running back settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
