McCormick should have been long gone. The Lions pounced, and earned a B.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Lions watched Mason McCormick slide 18 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Lee has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
