Skattebo should have been long gone. The Bengals pounced, and earned a B.

When a board-topper like Cam Skattebo slides to pick 191, you do not overthink it, and the Bengals did not. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Shaquill Griffin pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
